One of the most attractive designed flags of the Third Reich. The Grand Admirals flag would have been flown when the head of the German navy either Raeder or Donitz visited a ship, docks, naval rally or admiralty building. The flag is of standard construction as other naval flags being printed on cotton bunting material. The flag is nicely stamped to the edge border with marine acceptance stamp and “Gross Admiral”. Size marked 2.4 x 2.4 (this is meters). The flag is printed on both sides and is in excellent condition with no holes or tears. All the colours remain bright and the flag just shows standard flown wear. A fantastic item that is rare to find in this larger size. |
